This was installed in a new house. Three phase 415v board adapted for single phase 230v use by means of a door hinge.
All main switching has been removed. Supply cables are undersized and where joined to meter tails exposed live parts had been left.
Very hot and very dangerous!
Shower switch that went Bang !!
Caused by back box being too shallow. Cables being pressed together and getting too hot.
Burnt consumer unit.
Caused by a loose connection. Believe it or not most electrical fires are caused by the neutral conductor and not the live. The house holder didn’t like the fishy smell in the cupboard so put an air freshener in.
